Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Buffalo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Kosta's is a sort of upscale Greek diner, and while they don't have the longer hours they used to, the food is good and the servings are ample. They have a totally indoor seating area with traditional booths and tables, but also have two smaller areas in the front with openable windows that provide open-air patio-style seating or extra enclosed seating when the weather isn't so good. We have never experienced poor service or long waits for our food, and even to-go orders are of really good quality. They have some 'house specials' which are generally really good, as well as items that are seasonal (we just had smelt on a bed of cooked dandelion greens which was really good). While the location itself is great, be aware that parking in the Walgreens parking lot across the street seems tempting, but they've gotten more militant about ticketing and towing in the lot. But there's generally plenty of free parking on Parkside if you don't mind a little walk.

They are amazing authentic greek style food, staff is awesome quick with the food and the best it's real Greek food not under the guise of middle Eastern food pretending it's Greek. I got the gyro platter side of rice and stuffed grape leaves.

I ordered out for breakfast. Purchased the salmon eggs Benedict and home fries w/ onions and peppers. My home fries were unseasoned and COVERED in onions and peppers with barely any potatoes. The hollandaise was very thick and tasted very sour. This used to be a really great place to eat. Every time I go the food is worse. I will never get anything from here again.

Kostas Restaurant is a family owned restaurant on Hertle in Buffalo. Many people have a tradition of eating here after church or other certain occasions. It is the type of place where you know the staff who work here and they know you. The dining area is not large but has a spacious feel. Table placement allows for.quiet conversations. On either side of the entrance are tables in a glass sun room that give a great view of Hertle Ave. I have eaten here with my family on many occasions, mostly for breakfast or brunch. Having said that, we have also ordered take out for family events On this occassion there were 3 couples eating brunch on the day after Thanksgiving. Four of us were from out of state back home visiting. It was good to have a leisurely pace to visit and eat. Our service was excellent. Drinks refilled and often asking if we needed anything. The food was awesome. I enjoyed a very large bacon and cheddar omelite with homefries. Cooked perfectly. The coffee was good and the fresh squeezed orange juice smooth. Rason toast was good as well. Two of the women enjoyed salads. One was the beet salad and another the souvlaki salad. Both were very la
